Sajjid Mitha is the CEO of Polymerupdate, South Asia's first and preferred industry related market intelligence platform. Mr. Mitha has recently been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate and academic position of Special Professor by the Universal Institute of Professional Management (UIPM).

Mr Mitha's commitment to saving the environment is represented through RACE (Recycling And the Circular Economy) - a global platform which hosts both physical and virtual conferences on waste management, grass-root level education programmes for a better understanding on handling waste responsibly and clean-up activities across beaches.

He is also the CEO and Founder of Polymerupdate Academy, a platform which provides customised corporate training courses to assist in expanding the individual's knowledge in petrochemical and allied sectors. As well as The Polymerupdate Club (TPC), a networking platform for professionals in the polymer industry to connect, interact and collaborate, fostering a strong sense of community within the industry.

SIPL is the IT Services division of the company which provides Information Technology (IT) support services, including IT infrastructure management, Email management, CCTV Systems setup and management, Managed IT Services etc. Through SIPL, Mr Mitha hopes to help quicken the digitization of the plastics industry across India.

He is on the Industrial Advisory Board of the Department of Polymer Science at the Somaiya Vidyavihar University.
