For almost 30 years, Mr. Thomas Blocher has been bringing innovative process solutions to producers large and small across the chemical industry value chain. He earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in the US and is currently responsible for Buss ChemTech’s Reaction Technology business worldwide.

Buss ChemTech is a Swiss process technology provider in the fields of gas-liquid reactions, phosgene production, basic fluorine chemistry and anode production for the aluminium industry. Buss revolutionized oil and fatty acid hydrogenation technology in the 1950’s with the introduction of the Buss-Loop® Reactor. Buss’s technologies have been employed at many leading oleochemical companies around the world ever since.
